Gourmet Gameday: Mini French Dips

Mini French Dips with Au Jus

 

Ingredients

Au Jus

  • 14 oz beef broth

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp corn starch

Mini French Dips

  • 1 yellow onion 

  • 2 packages of crescent rolls (8 count)

  • 1 pound roast beef from the deli (thinly sliced)

  • 4 ounces provolone


Step 1

Slice onion & caramelize over medium-low heat until golden brown


Step 2

Unroll crescent dough on a lined cookie sheet and separate the triangles. On each crescent, place a slice of roast beef, then a piece of cheese, then some caramelized onions. Roll crescents starting from the wide end and ending at the narrow end.


Step 3

Bake at 375 degrees for 13-15 minutes, until crescents are golden.


Step 4

While crescents are baking, add all the au jus ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a boil


Step 5

Serve on a lazy susan with a bowl in the center for dipping!
