Host with Hauste: End of Summer BBQ

We recently hosted a summer backyard BBQ that was as delicious as it was beautiful. Think neutral gingham linens, funky taper candles, and pops of coral from the florals and our signature cocktail. But the true stars? Our American Lamb & Veggie Skewers, accompanied by a bright Couscous Salad and paired with Mint Pesto & Garlic Yogurt Sauce.

Hauste Hint #1

Mix up your table linens! Layering different patterns like gingham in neutral tones adds texture and interest without overwhelming your tablescape. We kept things cohesive with neutral linen tones while letting the flowers add a playful pop of color.

Hauste Hint #2

Signature cocktails that can be batched? Yes, please! Our Watermelon Mojito Poptails were not only refreshing but also a fun, interactive element for our guests to enjoy.

Hauste Hint #3

When planning your menu, aim for variety in both flavor and texture. The American Lamb skewers, with their juicy, savory goodness, were perfectly balanced by the cool, herby pesto and creamy garlic yogurt sauce.

Hauste Hint #4

Don’t shy away from bold decor choices. Fun taper candles in unexpected colors or shapes can make your tablescape feel unique and curated. We opted for these olive green bubble taper candles to play off the olive green napkins and it brought the whole look together.
