The Perfect Iced Matcha

This is absolutely a trial & error type of recipe to find the right measurements for your taste, but here is *my* perfect iced matcha latte.

 

Ingredients (makes 1 Latte):

  • 1 1/2 tbsp K&K Chai Sweet Matcha (this is 🔑!!! best matcha ever)

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla syrup (or date syrup)

  • ice

  • Califia Farms Barista Blend Oat Milk (also an important factor, this one is my current fav!)


Step 1

Add matcha powder to a glass.


Step 2

Add your sweetener of choice, then fill the glass with about 1/4 cup of boiling water.


Step 3

Froth the matcha & sweetener with a hand frothed until combined and fluffy (about 1 minute). Here is the hand frother I use!


Step 4

Fill the glass with ice.


Step 5

Cold froth your milk of choice, this step is optional! Here is the frother I have for milk.


Step 6

Pour your milk over the glass with ice & matcha.
