Fairies & Fireball

Fireball sour (MAKES 2):

  • 1 oz maple syrup

  • 3-5 sprigs of fresh thyme

  • 2 dashes of orange bitters

  • 2 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 4 oz Fireball

  • 2 egg whites

  • Ice

  • 1 small thyme sprig to garnish

Steps:

  1. Using a cocktail muddler, muddle the sprigs of thyme with maple syrup and orange bitters in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add lemon juice, Fireball, & egg white and shake well.

  3. Remove the lid, add ice, and shake again until the cocktail is very cold.

  4. Strain into a coupe glass, garnish with a small thyme sprig & serve!

Non-Alcoholic lychee martini (makes 2):

  • 1 can whole lychees in syrup

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup water

  • zest and juice of 2 lemons

  • ½ cup Ritual Gin Alternative

  • Blueberries

  • Red food dye

  • Cocktail picks

Steps:

  1. Remove a few lychees from the can and skewer on cocktail skewers. Add a blueberry to the center of the lychee. Place in the freezer until slightly frozen firm.

  2. Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer to make a simple syrup.

  3. Pour the syrup into a blender along with the remaining lychees and the lychee juice from can.

  4. Zest and juice the lemons into the mixture and then puree until completely smooth.

  5. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the solids. Refrigerate the lemon lychee syrup until cold.

  6. When ready to serve, add the Ritual Gin Alternative and ¼ cup of the lemon lychee syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake well, then pour into chilled martini glasses.

  7. Remove lychee garnishes from the freezer and use a toothpick to add red food coloring to the cracks in the lychee to look like eyeball veins! Garnish & serve!


Aliens & Aperitifs

FRENCH 51 (MAKES 2):

  • 2 oz gin

  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice

  • ¾ ounce pear liqueur

  • 2 ounces Champagne or Prosecco

  • granulated sugar, for the rim

Steps:

  1. Add gin, lemon juice, and pear liqueur to a shaker with ice and shake well.

  2. Strain into a coupe glass with a sugar rim.

  3. Top with Champagne or Prosecco & serve!
