Family Favorites: Tri-Chocolate Chip Cookies

What’s better than a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie? A freshly baked tri-chocolate chip cookie! These are the ultimate family favorite.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup white sugar

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3/4 cups each white, chocolate and butterscotch chips

Hauste Hint: we always double the recipe and freeze the rest in pre-portioned cookie dough balls!


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375° F


Step 2

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl – set aside


Step 3

Beat butter, white sugar & brown sugar blend, and vanilla extract at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until blended. Stir in 3 types of chocolate morsels.


Step 4

Scoop approx. 1 3/4 inch balls of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets


Step 5

Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack
