Gourmet Gameday: Hot Habanero Feta Dip with Sizzling Scallion Oil
This dip will have you on cloud 9 ☁️
Ingredients
feta dip:
6 oz feta cheese, crumbled
3/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 tbsp Cloud 23 Hot Habanero Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
sizzling oil:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 scallions, white & light green parts thinly sliced
Zest from 1 lemon
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tbsp Cloud 23 Hot Habanero Sauce
Step 1
Add feta cheese, Greek yogurt, Cloud 23 Hot Habanero Sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, white pepper, and smoked paprika to a food processor (blender works too!) and blend until whipped, about 3 minutes. Add the dip to a bowl and fold in freshly chopped parsley and dill. Taste for seasoning & store in the refrigerator until ready to serve!
Step 2
To make the sizzling oil, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a small pot over medium-low heat. Once shimmering, add thinly sliced scallions, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Stir for about 3-5 minutes carefully watching so the garlic doesn’t burn. Remove from heat, then pour into a small bowl with 1 tbsp of Cloud 23 Hot Habanero Sauce. Mix until combined.
Step 3
Spread the dip onto a serving platter and spoon the sizzling oil on top. Garnish with some fresh dill and serve with pita & fresh veggies!
