Gourmet Gameday: Pizza Pull Apart bread

The iconic monkey bread… but make it savory!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of Grands biscuits

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp salt & pepper

  • 2 tbsp Italian parsley, finely chopped

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  • 3.5 oz pepperoni (~1/2 of a package)

  • 1/2 cup marinara, plus more for dipping

  • sliced basil (optional: for topping)

Serve with our homemade ranch!

Step 1

Heat oven to 375°

Step 2

Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, grated parmesan cheese, chopped Italian parsley, and salt & pepper to a large mixing bowl and stir until combined. Pop open your biscuits and cut each one into quarters. Add biscuit quarters to the mixing bowl and mix to coat pieces.

Step 3

Grease bundt pan with olive oil and circle bottom with pepperoni. Sprinkle some mozzarella then start layering in your coated biscuits. Start with a loose single layer of biscuits, then top with quartered pepperoni slices, followed by a handful of mozzarella, and finally 5-7 spoonfuls of marinara. Repeat until all biscuits are gone! We finished it off with some more pepperoni, cheese and a bit of the marinara to make sure it stays moist.

Step 4

Bake at 375° for 40-45 minutes. Let cool in pan for 20 minutes and then flip onto your serving dish of choice. Top with grated parm & sliced basil. Serve with remaining marinara & homemade ranch!
