Heavy Apps: Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
Snacks for dinner? We call those Heavy Apps.
Ingredients:
2 8 oz cans of water chestnuts
Soy sauce
10 strips of bacon
honey
Step 1
Soak the water chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes
Step 2
Chop bacon into 1/3s
Step 3
Wrap bacon around chestnuts (seam side down) and bake for 45-60 minutes at 375 degrees oven until crispy
Step 4
Let cool then place on a board & drizzle with honey!
